MBFWSJ - Friday 29th

Another day went by at the MBFWSJ and the design proposals were spectacular. The fashion show began with Bryan Cecas designs. His collection in neutral tones and elastic materials adjusted well to the body creating unexpected forms, while his accessories (bracelets and ear cuffs) gave his proposal a conceptual and futuristic touch.

We continued with Carolina Rojas, her summer attire was beautiful; the fabrics were great with movement and enhanced the female figure.

Brands such as Nike, Lacoste, Levi’s and Express were also present. They were followed by Mexican designer, Alejandra Quesada.

As I mentioned in the previous entry, this year I worked at the Fashion’s Week backstage and along other coworkers I was present at Alejandra’s fitting. If I had to summarize it in one sentence I would say: I wanted to buy her every single piece. Her patterned clothing looked like watercolors, and the combination of loose and tight garments with sneakers was perfect. Without a doubt, Alejandra Quesada knows how to mix comfort and elegance.

Lastly, came French Vanilla who won us over with its lingerie and left Colombia up high. Soon we will share with you a post on the last day and After party of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion week. Hope you enjoy it!
